Carly Thomas is an Associate Editor for online at The Hollywood Reporter and also leads THR’s online “Person of Interest" series. After graduating from Elon University with a bachelor's degree in journalism, she worked as a Lead Digital Producer for WSOC-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she won an Emmy Award, in addition to earning three Emmy nominations, for her digital contribution to story coverage. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue entertainment news at THR.
